Yes with one caveat, with the slide locked open and the takedown lever at 6oclock. The slide won't move back. If I use my left thumb to push the takedown lever to 6:30-7, then I can pull the slide back to remove it. if I don't hold the takedown lever forward, the slide stays locked. I can alternatively push the slide lock button down and remove the slide.Before you pull the FCU out of the grip flip the takedown lever back up. That will help hold everything in place.
