Seems like no one reads patch notes - with the latest major patch, XP gains were rescaled in Driftwood. I can't brew/combine the potion no matter what I do. I'm using all the correct items. From what I heard you're supposed to combine it even if you can't read the recipe book. This is just a walkthrough link if you've not consulted one already. I don't know if it applies to you but apparently using a high augmentor herb won't work in the recipe.
