Speed in regen is less, but good enough with the right masteries. When i went to regen I lost about 9k HP from 79k, but have got it back up to 71k, 4300 def, and last 2 pcs of gear are defiant, felt with that one mastery that gives 5% damage reduction to AOEs, and the 2 Pcs defiant, that 20% damage reduction felt better than 3% heal.
