Really depends on the enemies, skills you've unlocked, and tier armour for each. I will say though that the Ascension crossbows are great for leveling invention. Level up two weapons at once instead of one with the scythe. Could augment drygores but not as great for aoe attacks for taking down mobs.Remember to use an Equipment Siphon (not equipment desolver) whenever that scythe hits level 12 for maximum exp.
