We can only hope that some day a wiiu exploit sees the light and hopefully that exploit will allow us to restore the vwii nand from within wiiu mode. There still is the wiiu site of the nand, which only can be restored the hardware way. If that get's messed up, it likely will totally brick your wiiu.
